EDDY, A. J.

Yuma -- A. J. Eddy, 96, was a former mechanic who became an attorney, and in a landmark case in 1922, he proved that gun bores left distinctive imprints on bullets. He was a Navy veteran of the Spanish-American War. Survivors include his wife, Marion, and a sister. Friday, 1/9/1976.

ELLIS, Lottie Mae

21 October 1888 - 11 January 1976 Lottie Mae Ellis, 87, a charter member of Los Arcos Methodist Church and Scottsdale Grandmothers Club, died Sunday, January 11, 1976, in a Valley hospital. Mrs. Ellis lived at the Golden Age Nursing Home and formerly at 7447 E. Almeria in Scottsdale. Survivors include a daughter, Marvel E. Bowman, a grandson, Edwin Tracy, and two great-grandchildren, Sheri Tracy and Michael Tracy. Memorial services were in Messinger Mortuary. 1/14/1976. C-3.

ENAS, Jonathan

Scottsdale -- A wake for Jonathan Enas, 50, was Friday in the Salt River Indian Reservation Assembly of God Church on Extension Road. Services were Saturday in the church. Mr. Enas, a laborer who served in the Army in World War II, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976, in Phoenix Indian Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Frances; children, Brenda, Noreen, Doreen, Marilyn and Burleigh; father, John Enas; a brother; and two grandchildren. Camelback Sunset Chapel handled arrangements.
