FAMULINER, John J.

7 April 1907 - 5 January 1976 John J. Famuliner, 68, retired president of Whataburger of Arizona, died Monday, Jan. 5, 1976, in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he was visiting. He came to Phoenix in 1962 and was a retired Air Force major. Wife, Mae Belle; daughters Cathy Lea and Jody Lou; two sisters, three half-sisters and a half-brother. Services in the First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave. 1/11/1976.

FARNBACH, Frederick A

Frederick A. Farnbach, 61, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1976, in St. Joseph's Hospital. He had been an engineer with the Camp Trails Co. for 11 years and officer in charge of firearm safety education for the Arizona Game & Fish Department in 1960 and 1961. 10 January 1976.

FIGUEROA, Maclovia

Maclovia Figueroa, 55, 2715 E. Caldwell, was born in Miami and died Tuesday, January 13, 1976, en route to Memorial Hospital. Survivors includeher husband, Frank; children, Victoria Cruz; Feliz Cruz, Virginia, Rita, Maria, Emilio, Ricardo, Ruben and Francisco; three sisters; three brothers; and five grandchildren. Rosary was in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Home. Mass in the Church of St. Catherine, 6200 S. Central. 1/15/1976.

FINCH, Carl E.

Carl E. Finch, 62, of 111 E. Southern, died Wed., Feb. 11, 1976, at Maricopa County Hospital. He moved here in 1948. Survivors include a sister. Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St. 13 Feb 1976

FLAM, Michael

Michael Flam, 35, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1976, of leukemia. He was assistant chief counsel for employment security matters under Attorneys General Bruce Babbitt and Gary Nelson. He graduated from Arizona State University and the University of Arizona Law School and was said to the the youngest attorney to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He was born in New York and lived in Arizona 34 years. Survivors, wife, Maureen; daughters, Debra, Jacqueline and Jennifer; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George FLAM; three brothers, David and Arthur of Phoenix and Robert of Peoria. Services at Sinai Mortuary Chapel. Interment Beth El Cemetery. 1/13/1976.

Pablo Bracamonte Flores, 56, a delivery and maintenance worker for the Grand Canyon Color Lab, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1976. Wife, Eleanor; sons, Joe C. and Danny S.; daughter, Teresa C. Facio; mother, Mrs. Julia B. Flores; two sisters and four grandchildren. 1/11/1976.

FORD, Thomas M.

Apache Junction-- Thomas M. Ford, 59, a carpenter, was dead on arrival at Mesa Lutheran Hospital Saturday, Jan. 10, 1976. He came to Arizona 28 years ago and had lived in Apache Junction 12 years. Wife, Hazel; son, Thomas, Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Beverly SELF of Show Low and Mrs. Carol BROUGHTON of Cottonwood; mother, Mrs. Josie Mc COLLUM; and eight grandchildren. Military graveside honors by Williams Air Force Base funeral detail. Interment Mountain View Memorial Gardens. 1/12/1976.

FRANCIS, James Starr

Sun City -- James Starr Francis, Sr., 75, an Arizona agriculturist, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1976, at the Sun Valley Lodge, 12415 N. 103rd Ave. He came to Arizona in 1922 to help build a cotton gin in Peoria which began operating the following year as the Valley Gin Co. His interests included cattle feeding, investments and land development. He helped develop many agricultural tracts around the valley. He was a founder of the National Cotton Council in 1937 and the first Arizonan to be elected to its board of directors, serving from 1948 to 1966. He was past president of the Glendale Rotary Club, the Arizona Cotton Growers Association and the first president of the Arizona Cotton Ginners Association. He served on the board of the National Ginners Association, the Phoenix Federal Land Bank Assn., Spur Feeding Co., John C. Lincoln Hospital, and E. S. Erwin and Associates, Inc. He was a member of the Arizona Club, the Paradise Valley Country Club and a senior warden of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Phoenix. Survivors include his wife, Margaret F.; sons, J. S., Jr. and G. H.; four sisters; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 103rd Ave. and Peoria. 1/15/1976.

FRAZIER, Laurence

Coolidge -- Graveside services for Laurence Frazier, 48, will be Friday in Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Frazier died Monday, Feb. 9, 1976, in New Plymouth, Idaho. Survivors include his wife, Louise; children, Donald, Bobby, Billy, Doris, Carolyn, Terry, and Barbara Laughlin; two brothers; a sister; and 12 grandchildren. FROMAN, Myrtle

Safford -- Myrtle Froman, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1976, in Mount Graham Community Hospital. Her husband died Dec. 20. Mrs. Froman had lived in the Gila Valley since 1952. Survivors include three sisters. Caldwell Funeral Home. 1/12/1976.
