Searching for parents of Landrum Jones (Langdon, Landon just two of other spellings in records). Landrum was b. In Virginia in 1803. He m. Catharine Davenport in Monroe County, Georgia on March 1, 1826. She was b. In Newberry County, South Carolina.

MARTIN -
I'm looking for my great grandfather Kit Martin's family all I know that he was born in Virginia about 1835. He was my grandmother's father. I found him in the 1900 and 1910 census. All they had he was born in Virginia and his parents were from Virginia but no part was mention. These census were taken in Bogalusa, Louisiana {Washington parish}. It also mentioned married thirty years but no wife's name was mentioned, only my grandmother who was Sarah Martin at the time and some other people were in the household. Where can I turn next and how?

MOORE, OATES -
I am looking for any info I can find on James MOORE d.1772 Amelia Co. VA I am unsure of his dob and even his parentage is a huge Q.
I have an immigrant Samuel MOORE b. 1717 d. 1860 and James could be his brother. Samuel lived in Westmoreland Co in VA and it says he died there. James was to have married in VA not sure where. Nellie Oates of Frederick Co She was widowed and moved on to York Dist SC she remarried another Moore, Walter or Willliam (no relationship to James) and she died there in 1821.
I find no records of this James and nothing of his marriage. But James is an enigma. I have DNA to prove this line if it is really provable.

GOOLDY, Frederick, b approx 1760, d est 1822 +/- 20 years spouse to Bridget "Biddy" Brown. believed to have been born in Maryland and moved to Northern neck of Virginia about 1780 . Did marry in Botetourt County in 1791 but no record of them in Botetourt after that. Suspect Bedford County was their home place but no records after 1820 to indicate where they were living after that or with whom.

I am searching for info on Nancy Blankenship WARD in Franklin County, abt. 1825-26. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Ward. She married William Amstead Ward, Oct. 14,1857 in Franklin Co., VA. She had the following children: Ann BLANKENSHIP, Elizabeth Ward HODGES, Josephine Ward PETERS, Ruffus WARD, Griffin WARD, Stephen Ward HODGES, Eliza WARD WILKES and Edna C. PEDIGO. Josephine Ward PETERS was my grandmother. I would like to find an obituary & where buried. If there are any living grandchildren, I would like to contact, or hear from them. Mary Peters Thorpe

Can a James Siddens (Siddons) be found in Virginia prior to his marriage in Augusta County in 1798 to Sarah Graves? James had two known siblings, William S. Siddens and Joseph. Undocumented information that I have states that he came originally from the Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania. Any assistance or advice would be welcomed.

Greetings from Michigan!
As a descendant of James and Susanna Anderson McReynolds, I am attempting to learn more about Susannah. The couple was married 26 July 1796 in Washington Co.--at least Susannah is said to be from this county. Within 3 years the couple had migrated to south-central Kentucky, Barren County or one of the offshoots of that county when Warren and Allen counties were formed from parts of Barren. One source states that Susannah was the daughter of William and Nancy Agnes McCampbell McReynolds, but I have no documentation for this. Any assistance that can be provided me in my search will be appreciated.
