The Tolson - Shacklette Family

Raymond Blake Tolson, who was born Tuesday morning June 11, 1878 and died May 9, 1920 Sunday morning at 6 oclock at age 42. He married Fannie Katherine Voss Sterne.  He is buried in the Cedar Run Cemetery, Prince William County, VA, which is maintained by the Marine Corp Base, Quantico, VA
On back of photo: "MR. R. B. TOLSON, Candidate for Supervisor of Rock Hill District.  In our ad columns will be seen the announcement of Mr. R. B. Tolson, a candidate for supervisor of Rock Hill District, Stafford, subject to the action of the Democratic primary on Aug 3.  Mr. Tolson is a practical business man and farmer and has many friends who will help him in his campaign."

Nelson Tolson Shacklette Senior, who was born August 25, 1856 and died on September 20, 1903.  He married Cora Anna Tolson.  They lived at "Spring Dale," near Stafford Store in Stafford, VA.

Howard H. Shacklette, who was born September 03, 1880.
He was Nelson Tolson Shacklette, Sr.'s and Cora Anna Tolson's son.

Bertha Lee Tolson taken in 1914 at age 18.  On November 10, 1919 she married Nelson Tolson Shacklette, Jr., son of Nelson Tolson Shacklette, Sr. and Cora Anna Tolson.  Bertha was born October 18, 1896 at Stafford Store, Stafford Co., VA and died October 25, 1991.
