SHACKLETT NOTES

The threshing machine is busy every day in this section.

The Embrey chapel protracted meeting will begin Aug 22. We hope for a good revival.

The many friends of Miss Violet Botts at Shacklett were pleased to hear of her safe arrival at Haiti at San Domingo.

Miss Janie M. Garrison, of Shacklett, has returned from a two weeks visit to her cousin, Miss Nellie Humphrey, at Toluca.

The Free Lance, Thursday, 19 Aug 1920, pg. 4, col. 3:

Hearty congratulations to Mr. And Mrs. Howard Shacklett, of Stafford C. H., upon the arrival of a little Mr. Howard Bryan Shacklett.
