William and Lucy T. Kerns Bradshaw J. Douglas Bradshaw's "John H. Bradshaw & Scythia Enfield Fritter of Stafford County, VA" states that William's birthdate, 3 May 1823, is recorded in the Fritter - Fant - Bradshaw family Bible. William married Lucy T. Kerns (b. 1830). He served in the Civil War, enlisting on 1 March 1862 in the Stafford Light Artillery, CSA. He was captured at Hatchers Creek on 2 April 1865, then paroled and released on 21 June 1865. His will was dated 18 October 1897 and probated in Stafford County Court on 16 February 1898.
