William and Lucy T. Kerns Bradshaw

J. Douglas Bradshaw's "John H. Bradshaw & Scythia Enfield Fritter of Stafford County, VA" states that William's birthdate, 3 May 1823, is recorded in the Fritter - Fant - Bradshaw family Bible.  William married Lucy T. Kerns (b. 1830).  He served in the Civil War, enlisting on 1 March 1862 in the Stafford Light Artillery, CSA.  He was captured at Hatchers Creek on 2 April 1865, then paroled and released on 21 June 1865.  His will was dated 18 October 1897 and probated in Stafford County Court on 16 February 1898.  It left his entire estate to his daughter Alverta.  This information was sent to me by Bob Kerns
