The Bedford County Order Book # 9, page 132, has entries, in December 1787 as follows:
"Ord. that the Over,s,of the poor Bind out Aaron and Moses Parker Children of Mary Parker and so saw"
The next entry on the same page reads "Ord. that the Over,s od the poor Bind out Wm Parker, Jesse Parker and Levi Parker also two other younger children whose names are not known. Children of Sarah Parker and so saw"
We have extensive information on Mary Parker and the descendants of her children. Believe Sarah Parker may be a sister of Mary Parker. Would like to have information on Sarah and her children. Can anyone help us? Thank you.

I am seeking information on my great grandfather, N. H. Hazlewood and his family. In the 1870 census he is listed in Lynchburg, Campbell County. In the 1880 census he is listed in Madison, Amherst County. In the 1880's he purchased a home in Bedford County and lived there until his death. While living in Bedford County the family most likely was associated with the Montvale Presbyterian Church. Several family members are buried at the church cemetery.

I am seeking information on Sallie Elizabeth Goings (Goins) Browley (born ~1863), her husband, Price Browley, or any of their children (Frances Tanner, Mary Good/Goode, Charlie, Ella, Sadie, Samuel, or Robert). All resided in Bedford County, Central District based on the 1900 and 1910 census'. Sadie married William Earnest Johnson, who passed away in Bedford around 1968.
