Looking for any information on Morgan Morris b. abt. 1798. He married (1)Polly Tiler on 12/21/1819 & (2) Lucy Hatcher Nichols on 02/19/1822 both marriages in Bedford County. I am trying to locate particularly Morgan's parents. I have the children of his marriage to Lucy and, also, the child of his marriage to Polly Tiler. Her name is Margaret Ann Morris b. 1822; m. Micajah BOWEN, 1846.

I am looking for information on a James/John Goff was married to a Mary Rider and had a son Jack Goff born 1-11-1867. In information given to the funeral home for my g grandfather Jack it showed that his father was John but I got information from a Rider researcher that Jack's father was James. I know that Jack had a brother James. Jack married Bettie Rider and James his brother married a Emma Vassel. I know this family was in Bedford, Botetourt, and Allegany counties before moving toward Indiana. This is about all I have to go on and looking for anyone who might have any other information to share. I do have quite a little bit on Jack/Bettie Rider Goff family and a little on James/Emma Vassel Goff family.

Sarah SAUNDERS married Zachariah Parker Oct. 5, 1836 in Bedford County. The 1850 Census records this family in Kanawha County, now WV. Several SAUNDERS families were also in 1850 Kanawha County Census, same district as the Parker family. Seeking info on Sarah Saunders' parents and siblings.

I am resarching the Mitchell family from Bedford, VA. I have traced the Mitchell line back as far as 1714 in Ireland, but have not been able to make the connection to John A. Mitchell, of Bedford, VA, who is my great- great-great grandfather. John A Mitchell Born April 18, 1816, Died Sept. 9, 1882, married to Eliza Clator, Born Oct. 30, 1821. I would like to have as much information as I can get on the parents of John A., can anyone help??

I'm looking for any info on a David Beard born 1743/1745 in Bedford County Va. He married Isabell Carson, also of this county. He served in the Revolutionary War and was a Captain. He is my distant relation. Thanks.
