Looking for names of parents of Jacobus Covith Jordan my g.g.g. grandfather who was b. abt 1785 in Bedford County Virginia; m. Martha Patsy Carter d/o of David Carter in 1803. Jacobus died about 1862 in Lawrence County Kentucky. Numerous websites show parents were William Jordan and Lucy Stith Jordan. However, the will of William Jordan, Sr. on record in Breckinridge County from 1817 does not show Jacobus as one of children.

I am inquiring about George A. Britts, his wife Elizabeth Farley Britts and son George Andrew Jr (Andy). They lived and worked in Bedford in the late 60's and 70's They had a taxi stand, bus station, etc. They are buried in Virgina Memorial Park at Lynchburg, Va. Elizabeth also worked at Sweet Briar College. For family records we would like to have the date of birth and date of death of these people. Can you help me?
