Old Richardson family notes say our ancestor was "John Richardson out of VA who married an Overstreet". Looking for any connection to Bedford Co. marriage record "John Richardson married Elizabeth Overstreet, March 19, 1801, John Overstreet, surety, by John Ayres." Our line- VA/KY/TX.

PATTERSON Family Cemetery ... I have a Virginia Death Certificate for George Washington PATTERSON of Liberty, Bedford county, Virginia, dated 31 December 1915, that lists his burial as being in the family cemetery, address "Bedford, VA", by M.P. Carder, undertaker. Can anyone tell me anything regarding this cemtery, such as it's location, condition, etc.

Am looking the parents of Abner GARRETT who married Angelica Mary Jane ECHOLS in Bedford County, Virginia November 15, 1837. A son James C/G was born to Abner and Mary in 1838 in Virginia and their next child Rhoda Elizabeth was born in Boone County, Missouri in 1842. Have information to share on this family after they came to Missouri if anyone is interested.

I am searching for a Richard Hale born in Bedford Co. before the Revolutionary War. He was the father of my gggGrandfather Richard C. Hale who was born in 1798 in Bedford Co., VA. He died in 1848 in Pulaski county, Ill. Richard C. Hale married Driscilla Mathews, who was also born in Bedford County VA. I need help. My Mother and my Grandfather (Robert Edward Hale) always told me the story that there were three bothers named Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego. Please respond if you have any information. Thanks,

Would like to exchange information on the family of Jacob CITTY (ZETTY) and his wife Elizabeth ("Betsy") RUNYON (RUNION).
Jacob, b. 28 Jun 1760, Donegal Twp., Lancaster Co., PA, m. Mar 1781, Brocks Gap, Rockingham Co., VA, d. 6 May 1836, Bedford Co., VA. Parents: Peter ZETTY & Barbara Ann RIFE. Jacob served twice in the Revolutionary War and received a pension for his services. Elizabeth, b. between Jan & June 1761, d. 31 Dec 1848, Bedford Co., VA. Parents: John RUNYON, Sr. & Anne (probably GOODPASTURE).

 1: Catharine, b. 22 Jan 1782, m. John B. WOOD, Sr
 2: Nancy, b. 11 Sep 1783 m. William W. STEPHENS
 3: Abraham, b. 17 Oct 1785. Probably did not marry. Lived in Pittsylvania Co., VA
 4: Elizabeth, b. 7 Mar 1788 m. James Harvey MITCHELL
 5: John, b.14 Jan 1790 m. Mary Jane WITT
 6: Jacob Jr., b. 17 Mar 1792 m. (1) Parkey DEARREN & (2) Jane BARNES. Moved to Wayne Co., KY
 7: Magdalena, b. 20 Nov 1793. Died before 1800.
 8: Polly, b. 20 Nov 1794 m. Blagdon WOOD. Moved to Callaway Co., MO
 9: Sarah b. 14 Jan 1797 m. Robert BURKS
