It is now Grandpa A G West in the double sense of the word, As again that grand old bird, the Green Valley Stork, was kind enough to visit the home of Wilmer West and left a nice 9 pound girl. It is said that grandpa West interviewed the grand old bird and tried to have him leave a boy but his birdship was set in his way and when it said a girl or nothing, the old gentleman frantically cried out for the Love of God and My Son, let's have the girl, which was placed in the care of Dr Douglas, until the tranquility of its grandpa was assured.
While some of our young folks were enjoying a sleigh ride last Sunday the team, belonging to Fred Mlinar, became unmanageable, and started to run, where upon the occupants became frantic, some jumping and others were thrown from the sled making an entertaining sight for those who witnessed the affair.

Last Thursday the little babe of William Spence and wife, aged 4 months, passed to the place where all is sunshine. Funeral services were held at the home by Rev Ohmart, Friday, and interment was in Woodlawn.

Wesley W Conrad of Inman and Elena Trowbridge of Page were united in marriage by Judge Malone at the county court room yesterday afternoon.
Mrs Dan O'Donnell of Stafford, one of the pioneers of this county, died at a hospital at Hot Springs, SD last Sat afternoon where she had been receiving treatment for dropsy for several months. The remains were shipped to the home of the deceased at Stafford Sun morning and brought to this city (O'Neill) on Mon morning and interred in the Catholic Cem at this place.
Harold, infant child of W Colter, aged 2 months and 5 days, after a few days illness from congestion of the lungs passed away Wed June 8th. Funeral services were held at M E Church in Atkinson, Fri, June 10 at 11 o'clock. Interment in the Evergreen Cem.

A J Hahn family are rejoicing over the arrival of a fine little boy at their house, born Sun June 12th
T H Davis' second son, Ralph, got a match and went out behind the chicken house to light it and it set the house on fire, before the folks found it out the fire had a good start. They had a lively time to save the corn crib and other buildings, and Mrs Davis to save her setting hens, the fire got so warm she didn't save many of the eggs.

The Green Valley Stork made a flying trip to Celia, last week and left little girls at the homes of Victor Johnson and Henry Henning.
Death entered the home of Gillman V Davis last Saturday and took their year old boy, who had been ailing with a summer complaint. The funeral was held at the Catholic Church, last Sunday afternoon and the remains laid at rest in the Catholic Cem.
