There is a reference to a Julia NIEMCZEWSKI on
familyserach.org that lists her parents as Stephen N. and Caroline GAPINSKI. It also lists her marriage to Anthony PIECHOTA in 1870 in Poland. There is no mention of the source of this information. The cemetery list for SS Cyril & Methodius lists a Antonie Piechota, b 13 May 1838, d 2 Mar 1916, but there is no Julia. If the information submitted to the IGI is correct, then Julia was an older sister to my
great grandfather, Joseph MINCHESKI 1863-1929. Joseph and his family (parents, siblings, and his own children) spent out part or most of their lives in Brown County in New Denmark, Eaton, and Green Bay. We
know Julia was deceased or unknown to the family in 1929 because she was not listed in Joseph's obituary with the other living siblings. I would greatly appreciate any information on these people. In addition, I would love to know the source for the LDS IGI. I also have much Niemczewski info online at www.kinson.org

I am looking for LONGARD relatives in Wisconsin. There are three listed in the phone directory online, two for Green Bay, Carol and Elsie, and one, Douglas for DePere. I found some information about a Walter Longard 1892-1983 living in Mountain and a land purchase in 1855 for Andrew Longard in Mineral Point. I also had, somewhere, town lots for two Longards somewhere in Wisconsin on Lake Michigan ( lost the site). The Longards came to Nova Scotia in 1752 and all the ones we have found so far are related, if only very distantly. It is not a large family so to find some in Wisconsin is very interesting. If anyone knows any of these people or anything about that family I would love to hear from them.I am curious as to why and how these people would get from Nova Scotia to Wisconsin in the 1800's.

it be at all possible to have information about their burials or other church

My father's father was John HERMENS who moved from De Pere, WI in 1875 with his four siblings and their parents Martin Hermens (or HERMANS) and Theodora Marie VERBOORT, to Oregon where they helped start the city of Verboort. I am trying to find the names of the other siblings and the origins of both Theodora and Martin. I think Theodora was born in the
