Casa Grande -- Services for Paul E. Carron, 56, who had been a farmer here for 20 years, were in Cole and Maud Mortuary. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Carron was a native Arizonan born in Flagstaff. He was a graduate of Flagstaff High School and the former Arizona State College at Flagstaff, now Northern Arizona University. Before coming to Casa Grande, he was a civilian worker for the Air Force and a clerk for the U. S. Forest Service. He was a director of the Casa Grande Cotton Oil Mill, past board member of the San Carlos Water Board and a member of the Casa Grande Elks Club. Mrs. Alberta W. Case, 76, a teacher in the Roosevelt Elementary School until she retired in 1961, died of cancer Sunday in her home, 7550 N. 16th St. Mrs. Case was graduated from Des Moines College in 1915 and taught in Des Moines, Iowa, schools before coming to Phoenix in 1937. She was the mother of Maggie SAVOY, former Republic women's page editor now Mrs. James BELLOWS of Beverly Hills, California. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Madison Baptist Church, 6202 N. 12th St. Graveside services will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary announced. Mr. Carzis came to Phoenix in 1943 from East Chicago, Indiana, where he had served on the special police force for 34 years. He was a self-employed poultry dealer and a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Phoenix. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Phoenix. CHAMBERLAIN, Cletus O.

Cletus O. Chamberlain, 52, who had been in the oil distributing business here 25 years and formerly owned the Mesa Oil Co., died Tuesday of a heart attack at his home, 9001 N. 18th Drive. Mr. Chamberlain was born in St. Johns and had resided in Phoenix the past 40 years. After serving in the Army engineers in World War II he established the Mesa Oil Co. in Phoenix and owned the Malco, Moco and Martin gas stations here. His World War II service in the Pacific included five major battles. He was a member of Arizona Masonic Lodge 2. Mesa -- Sam Cohen, 84, former owner of the Home Loan Co. here died August 30, 1967, in a Phoenix nursing home. Mr. Cohen, 460 W. Sunset Circle, was born in Romania and came to Mesa in 1910 when he established the finance company. He had been a member of Oriental Masonic Lodge here since 1920 and was a past master and treasurer emeritus of this lodge. He was a charter member and treasurer emeritus of the Mesa Shrine Club, a charter member of the Phoenix Consistory, member of El Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 16 of Mesa, life member of Williams AFB Geometric Club, past treasurer of the Mesa Hiram Club and past president of B'nai B'rith. He also was adopted into the Snake Clan of the Hopi Indian Tribe. Services were in Melcher Mortuary, 43 E. Stapley. Place of burial to be announced. Tempe -- Loda Mary Coon, 21, of 424 W. Parkway, died Friday, Aug. 25, 1967, in Owosso, Michigan, after the motorcycle on which she and her husband were riding collided with a truck. Her husband was reported in ciritcal condition in a Lansing, Michigan, hospital. Born in Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Coon was enrolled as a senior at Arizona State University for the coming school year. A member of Sigma Alpha Iota and Tau Alpha Upsilon sororities, she was graducated in 1964 from West High in Phoenix. She came to Arizona from Berkley, Calif., in 1960.
