AUNSPAUGH, CAFFERY, THOMAS -
I am seeking the ancestors of William and James Thomas of Bedford, Virginia. http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/t/h/o/Claude-A-Thomas-GA/index.html James was
married to Elizabeth Aunspaugh in 1817 in Bedford. I can't find the line on his father,
William who was married to Mary Caffery, although his gravesite is listed in the Bedford
Museum graves registry as "Revolutionary Soldier". I think he was from Wales, and may have lived
in Albemarle or Charles City before Bedford. James' son, William Peter THOMAS is my great
grandfather, a Civil War soldier on whom I have a lot of information.
