Pfeifer, 84, Orchard Park Apts., Portland, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. She died Tuesday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Born in Tulsa, Okla. on Dec. 30, 1919, to DeWitt and Blanche (Schetler) Fifer, she was married to Floyd Caldwell, who passed away. She later married Jack Pfeifer, who also preceded her in death. She worked for Jay Garment and Corning Glass and was a member of the Portland Moose Lodge, Portland Eagles Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary and V.F.W. in Geneva. Survivors include one son, David Caldwell, Portland; three brothers, William Fifer, Portland, Harry Ben, Cardington, Ohio, and Cecil Fifer, Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Estella E. Carballo, Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Mrs. Gary (Zola) Rankin, Summitville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was a WW II Army veteran. He was a member of the Friends Circle Club, Moline, lifetime member of the East Moline American Legion Post 227 and former member of the Moline Viking Club. Audra will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a great, dry sense of humor, was an avid sports fan and a die-hard Cubs fan. Survivors include his wife; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Larry Bettis, Moline, and Mary Sandra and Donald Massa, Erie; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Carrie Krulik, Davenport, William and Alice Caldwell, Lakeland, Fla., and Richard Caldwell, Fort Wayne, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, S.A.
