ELDER, Loyal Durwin

Loyal Durwin Elder, 71, of Phoenix, a retired Phoenix Newspaper, Inc., circulation employee, died Dec. 30, 1987, at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital & Health Center. He was born in Mark Center, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, Delores; sons, Rick and Lee; a brother; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center made private arrangements. EMERY, Mary Lee

Mary Lee Emery, 82, of Tempe, a homemaker, died Nov. 16, 1988. She was born in Paducah, Kentucky. Survivors include her husband, Marion "Skeet" Emery; a daughter; and one son. Chapel of Prayer Funeral Home, 108 N. 56th St, Mesa. The AZ Republic Nov. 18, 1988.

EUKEN, Helen C.

Helen C. Euken, 82, of Mesa, executive secretary of an engineering company and to the president of Montana State College, died Oct. 27, 1988. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is survived by Louise Fishel, her sister. Services were held in Iowa. Carr Mortuary. The Arizona Republic November 17, 1988.

EVANS, Miriam H.

Miriam H. Evans, 41, of Glendale, a dispatcher for the town of Goodyear, died Dec. 27, 1987, at Maricopa Medical Center. She was born in Hawaii. Survivors include daughters, Miarial and Lynette; sons, Lawrence and Michael; and one grandson. Cordy Funeral Home, 310 N. Litchfield Park Road. The Arizona Republic Saturday, January 2, 1988, p.
