COPELAND, James H.

Ajo -- James H. Copeland, 66, a former Ajo resident who reitred as a train engineer for Phelps Dodge Corp., died Jan. 28, 1981, in Fergu Lake, Calif. Mr. Copeland, of Martinez Lake, near Yuma, was born in Austin, Texas, and came to Arizona in 1938. He had been a member of the Ajo Elks Lodge and moved to Martinez Lake in 1976. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; sons, Don and Charles; a brother; a sister and three grandchildren. Services Tuesday at the Douglass Funeral Home in Ajo. Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981.

GRAY, Edna

Cryptside services for Edna R. Gray, 96, of 2300 W. Van BUren, who died Jan. 29, 1981, in Phoenix General Hospital, will be Monday at Greenwood Mausoleum, 2300 W. Van Buren. She was born in Mountain, PA, came here in 1949 from Pennsylvania, and was a member of the Missionary Society. Survivors include children, Mary McCullough and Paul; two sisters; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981.

HARGRAVE, James D.

Memorial services for James D. Hargrave, 46, of Phoenix, who was a manager for Honeywell, Inc., 13 years, will be in the Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St. Mr. Hargrave, who was born in Los Angeles and came here four years ago, died Jan. 27, 1981, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Katherine Guzman, Christine, James, Jr., and William; father, William, and a grandchild. Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981.

JAGOW, William H. "Bill"

Buckeye -- William H. "Bill" Jagow, 69, of Buckeye, who operated the Buckeye Taxicab Co. for 20 years, was dead on arrival Jan. 30, 1981, at Maryvale Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix. He was born in Buckeye and had farmed in the Arlington district. He was a Mason and .... Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; a brother and three sisters. Services Monday at the Buckeye Funeral Home. Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981.

JOHNSON, George

George Johnson, 59, of 6514 W. Berkeley, who was a gardener for the Paradise Valley Country Club 24 years, died Jan. 29, 1981, at his home. He was born in Kentucky and was a World War II veteran. He came here 25 years ago from California. Surviving are children, Bonnie O'Conner, Sarah LaCompte, William and George; father, Sam Johnson; mother, Mrs. O. J. Kinney; two sisters; a brother and 11 grandchildren. Services Monday at A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary. Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981.
