KAASCH posted by James L Baggs on Tuesday, June 27, 2000

My Grandfather was Frank Kaasch, who I am told was born in Schuyler on 4 March 1876. He married Josephine Fiala (born: 17 Nov 1874 in Schuyler), they were married in Schuyler on 29 Nov 1905 and moved to Scottsbluff, NE shortly after that because my Uncle Robert was born in Scottsbluff in March of 1906. My mother was Lorene Mary Kaasch born in Scottsbluff on 25 Mar 1908. I hadn't found any documentation on my grandfather until I saw the on-line 1870 census of Colfax County that shows a Fritz and Mary Kaasch on page 201a. This is most likely my relation but I don't have any links between them and me.
