service will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, Feb. 21 at Mound Grove Cemetery, 1818
N. River, Independence, MO. Kindly omit flowers. Genevieve was born to Elmer E. Weddle & Sarah
Adel (Stowell) Weddle on Oct. 24, 1920 in Fargo, ND. She married Peter Albert
Yoos on July 13, 1951. She was a Medical Assistant for over forty years and
retired in 1987. She served as a Board Member of the Quivira Falls Community
Association for over twenty years. Genevieve loved to grow roses and was
known for keeping an immaculate garden. Genevieve is survived by her husband Peter Yoos, of
the home; sons James Michael Wilkinson; Independence, MO; Larry Clark
Wilkinson, Cascade, CO; sister Betty June Jones, Kansas City, MO;
step-daughters Linda Warner, Grandview, MO; Patricia Connole, Independence,
MO; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. 2008

Obit: Graveside services are scheduled Thursday at Sierra
View Memorial Park for Albert Edward Weddle of Linda who died Nov. 17, 1986
at Rideout Hospital. He was 91. A Resident of the Yuba-Sutter area the past 60
years, he was a retired ranger. He was a native of Missouri. He is survived by four step-sons, Harold Sutfin and
Allen Sutfin, both of Marysville, William Sutfin of Lakeview Ore., and Ted
Blackburn of Stockton; three step-daughters. Emma Foster Distel and Ruth
Anthony, both of Yuba City, and Margaret Enders of Sacramento, one brother,
Herman Weddle of Kern City; one sister, Etta Tipton of Sheridan, Wyo., 22
grandchildren and a great-great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. with Bishop Irvine
Harreld of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2nd Ward, of
Marysville, officiating. Visitations will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel. 1986
