is survived by her son H.R. (Ray) Dellinger Jr. (Kimm) of Gloucester; her
daughters, Madge Winfree (Wes) of Gloucester; and Emogene Adkins of Pulaski,
Va.; her brothers, Alec Epperly, Ben Epperly, and Ray Epperly; her sisters,
Georgianna Harmon and Margurite Harris; her grandchildren, Meghann Wymer
(Andrew), Jared Dellinger, Fran Bonniville (Nicholas), Jan Chandler (Brian),
and Mary Beth Alexander (Ken); and her great-grandchildren, Addison Wymer,
Colton and Chase Bonniville, Davis Chandler, and Kenneth and Payton
Alexander. A
graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Parklawn

David Cannaday, 95, went home to the LORD on Thursday Jan. 9, 1997. He was
born Oct. 14, 1901 in Custer County, Oklahoma Territory. We
will miss his warm smile, his ability to recall stories of growing up in
western Oklahoma and the starting of Del City. We will remember his forty-one
years of attending and supporting OU athletics, his loving care and respect
of others, and his gentlemanly manners. He was a long standing member of the
Good-Timers Lions Club of Del City. Dave was the eighth child of William
Calloway Epperly and Eliza Addaway Epperly. He was a charter member of the
First Southern Baptist Church of Del City. Dave retired as a home builder in
1974. He
is survived by his wife Juanita of the home, son and daughter-in-law Roger
and Ruth Epperly of Del City, three grandsons and their wives, David and
Vonda Epperly of Oklahoma City, Robert and Susan Epperly of of Oklahoma City,
and Randy and Rachel Epperly of Shawnee, three great-grandchildren Tyler,
Erin, and Ellen, one sister Flora Gore of Clovis, N.M. and two brothers
Grover Epperly of Vici, OK and Paul Epperly of Webb, OK, and many nieces,
nephews, and friends. He
was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of forty-nine years Vera
Ellen Pummel Epperly, five brothers, Guy, Glen, Charles, George, Reese, and
one sister Virginia Shoemaker. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Felix Kay and his staff, the nurses from the TCU unit at Midwest City Regional Hospital, and the nurses and home aids from Samaritan Home Health Care for their unwavering love, dedication, and concern for Dave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the charity of your choice. 9, 2005, at the Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She was born on May 23, 1903, in Custer County, Okla., to
William and Eliza Cannaday Epperly. She attended high school in Camargo, Okla. and finished
high school at Southwestern College in Weatherford, Okla. She started college
classes in the spring term of 1925. She married Noble Gore on June 30, 1926,
in Arapahoe, Okla. She taught school in a one room schoolhouse south of
Taloga, Okla. before moving to Lake Valley to teach school. They moved to
California for a short time and returned to Lake Valley where the family ran
a country store and farmed. She was a member of Eastern Star and was the
worthy Matron of the Gotebo Chapter in the late 1940’s. She moved to
Alamogordo in 1966 and worked as a school cafeteria cashier. In 1971 she
moved to Clovis where she was involved in many programs at Baxter-Curren
Senior Citizen Center for over 25 years. She was a member of Central Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son,
Victor Allan Gore; a sister; and seven brothers. Survivors include three sons, Byron Gore of Cordell,
Okla., James Gore of Bozier City, La., and Douglas Gore of Rush Springs,
Okla.; a daughter, Sunny Bode of Clovis; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Denver McGuire will officiate the services. Burial will be at Raymond Cemetery in Taloga, Okla. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis. 2005 Burial: Raymond Cemetery, Lenora, Dewey Co., OK.

David Epperly, 87, of Paso Robles died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at his Paso
Robles home. A
celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at The
Temple, located at 320 Sherwood, Paso Robles. Mr. Epperly was born March 3,
1913, in Floyd, Va., to John Wesley and Iowa Texas Epperly. He completed a
correspondence course in the "Theory of Aircraft Construction" and
moved to Southern California in 1940. He joined the Coast Guard Reserve and
worked nights at the Wilmington Coast Guard patrol base. Mr. Epperly began to
build race car bodies in the 1940s and opened his own shop in the 1950s. He
built the body for the first "Spirit of America" land-speed-record
car. Mr. Epperly was an Indy 500 Old Timers member and past president of the
Gardena Rotary Club. He
is survived by his sons, John Edwin and David Elliot; daughter-in-law, Lynne
Ann; sisters, India, Ocie and Geneva of Floyd County, Va.; and several
granddaughters. Charitable
