1. Regarding Frank W. & Carrie (Vose) Jackson. Two of the nicest people a person could know. Frank was a farmer, lived on the farm in Freedom now occupied by Floyd & Julia Raven. Frank had ridden to Freedom village with me the night that he died. He got out of the car and started for the house and died on the lawn. He suffered from acute asthma. Carrie was a cripple, confined to a wheel chair. She burned to death in a fire at the Brooks, Maine telephone office.
