NOTE: - This "First Church of Georgetown" was the second Congregational Church established in the Kennebec Valley.
That in Woolwich was 22 days earlier.
The entire town after 1738, was one, and known as the FIRST PARISH.
The Bath District became the SECOND PARISH in 1753. Nequasset became the town of Woolwich in 1759. Then Arrowsic, Phipsburg, and Parker Island were the FIRST PARISH.
