More info on Samuel Jefferson Artz from his descendant, Jim: He was the son of Mary Artz and an unnamed father. Mary apparently took the name to the grave. Unless some other Artz knows it we have to stop there. Samuel Jefferson was a twin. Haven't found the sisters name yet but they took the name Ross when Mary married Abraham Ross in 1850. However, when Mary died they took back the name of Artz. |
