After his death there was a suit Wm. Pollard v. Francis Pollards
Admr's, which resulted in the sale of Francis Pollard's land to Eliza
Maloney. She acquired it at a Special Commissioner's auction in 1886,
and sold it in 1890 (Deed Book 49, Page 539).
Distributions were
made on four occasions as shown in Mecklenburg Co., VA, Chancery Order
Book 7, Page 433, 434, 533, and 569. Amounts of distributions indicate
the following relationships to Francis Pollard, Jr., as follows:

Pollard, James M. Pollard, Mildred Willingham, Patsy Wiltso, and 4 children of deceased niece - Frank W. Woltz, Edna T. Woltz, Mary E. Woltz, and Minnie Woltz;
3 - Frank Pollard, Thomas S. Pollard, children of Delia Pollard, dec'd (not named - name from marriage records) ( WW Pugh, Martha Conner, Sallie Spenser} and issue of William, decd (son William, grandson J. J. Jones (son of Lilly) and Mary Hardiesson(san) - nine children, some of whom had died - Uriah H., Thomas H. Jno. R., W.W., Susie H. Malone, Virginia Smith, and children of ? Morris [Mary E., Jno. E., Uriah, Edward A., Lilly Hill], children of ? Brennan [Frank, Esther, and Sarah H], and children of ? Hardiesson [George Franklin and Mary Elizabeth).
