Will of James BING 1815

Mecklenburg County, Virginia Will Book #8, page 149:

"In the name of God amen I James Bing of the County of Mecklenburg being sick but of a sound mind and of a disposing memory and agree that it was decreed by God that man must once must die do make ordain constitute and confine this my last will and testament in manner and form following.

Item my first will and desire is that all my just debts to be well and truly paid.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son James Bing and Edward Bing my two sons the tract of land I bought of Richard Hill to be equally divided between them both.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Bing the tract of land where I now live after my and my wife's decease.
Item I give and bequeath unto my three daughters Elizabeth Bing and Nancy Bing, Jane Bing each a good bed if not a bed six pounds a piece to be made out of and every one.
Item I give and bequeath unto my dear and well beloved wife my Negroe woman named Pheoby and a Negroe woman named Luce and Sam and Milley and stock of all kinds and house and furniture plantation utensils to have and to hold her life and after her decease to be equally divided between the above mentioned children.
Item I give unto my two sons George and Spenser Bing an equal part with the rest except the land.
Item my will and desire is that my son John Bing to be my executor dated this 6th February 1815.

At a Court held for Mecklenburg County the 19th June 1815. This will was presented in Court and proved by the oaths of Wyllie Tucker, Edward Holmes and George Holmes witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
