Miles WILSON to James WILSON 1814 Deed

Mecklenburg Co., VA Deed Bk 15, pp. 317-318:

Miles Wilson to James Wilson: Know all men by these presents that I, Miles Wilson of the County of Mecklenburg & State of Virginia for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to ? in hand paid by James Wilson of the same County & State the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed & by these presents doth bargin sell and convey to the said James Wilson all my interest, claims and portion of my father's estate which he lent to my mother-in-law Tabitha Wilson during her life and which I am entitled to at her death as expressed in the last will and testament of my father which is recorded in the County Court of Mecklenburg, and which must be referred to shew (sic) what my said interest is which said interest claim, portion or reversionary interest I hereby convey and warrant to him the said James Wilson & his heirs forever, hereby authorizing him or his heirs ? or ordains to demand will receive my ? as …this 5th day of March 1814

At a Court held for Mecklenburg County the 18th day of July 1814 This conveyance was approved by the oath of John H. Speed a witness thereto and ordered to be recorded.
