1. Private Carl R. Wright,    Hastings, Nebraska
Entered the service at Hastings, Neb,. April 18, 1917, and training at the Presidio, San Francisco, in the Medical Dept., 62nd infantry. Transferred to Army Clerk at Camp Mills, from there to Camp Lee, Va., where he is at the present.

2. George A. Cave,   Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 20, 1918, training at Camp Henry Nelson, for duty in the 407th Baking Co. Later transferred to Ft. Riley and Camp Taylor, receiving his discharge February 20, 1919.

3. Captain Jacob Kanzler,    Son of H. M. Kanzler, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Presidio, Calif., in May. 1917. Crossed to France in June, 1918, with Co. G, 361st Infantry, 91st Division. Saw service on the Meuse-Argonne, Lys, and Scheldt fronts, returning in April, 1919.

4. Lieutenant Frederick C. Kanzler,    Son of H. M. Kanzler, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Presidio, and trained at Camp Lewis, and Vancouver, Washington. Lumber inspector one year, and received his discharge papers in February, 1919. Resides at Ogden, Utah.

5. Lieutenant Reinhold Kanzler,    Son of H. M. Kanzler, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at the Presidio, San Diego, Calif., for service with the Medical Corps. Discharged in December, 1918. Resides and is a practicing physician at Ogden, Utah.

6. Private James N. Barry,   Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., March 26, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody, N. M., for duty with the 134th Infantry. Crossed to France in November, 1918, and is still in the service.

7. Private Harry C. Overhiser,    Son of Barney Overhiser, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service in March, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody for duty in 134th M. G. Co., crossed to France with the (Sand Storm Division), now in 259th Co. 130th Bat., M. P. Corps.

8. Sergeant John F. Thulin,    Son of John Thulin, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the regular army in August, 1917, joining the Field Hospital Corps, Co. 41 at Fort Riley, Kansas. Sailed overseas with the A. E. F. August 9, 1918. Served on the west front until the Germans surrendered.

1. Sergeant Hugh M. McClure,    Son of Mrs. H. M. McClure, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Keokuk, Ia., May 1, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Mills for duty with Company C, 313th Engineers, 88th Division. Was draftsman in France, later instructor in carpentry.

2. Corporal Jesse R. Baker,    Son of L. S. Baker, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., March 4, 1918, training at Fort Riley and Camp Allentown, for duty in Camp Hospital No. 101. Crossed to France, first in E. H. No. 11, now with Camp Hos. No. 101, A. E. F.

3. Reed C. Knox,    Son of Mrs. Nancy Knox, Shenandoah, Ia.
Entered the service at Clarinda, Ia., June 26, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Mills, for duty with the 313th Civil Engineers, Co. C, 88th Division, returning to this country during 1919.

4. Jesse E. Knox,    Son of Mrs. Nancy Knox, Shenandoah, Ia.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 27, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge for duty in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, in the 88th Division, returning for his discharge from active service June 19, 1918.

5. Private Leonard A. Mickish,    Son of William Mickish, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Dec. 10, 1917, and was trained at Fort Winfield Scott, for duty in the Coast Artillery Service, belonging to Co. 8. Received his discharge papers December 24, 1918.

6. Private Arthur H. Payton,    Son of C. H. Payton, Poole, Neb,.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 15, 1918, and was trained at Lincoln and Camp Sherman, for duty as a machine Gunner in 336th Infantry, 84th Division. Later on Military Police duty in Paris, France.

7. Corporal John J. Bastian,    Son of C. W. Bastian, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., June 12, 1917, and was trained at Camp Dodge for duty in 352d Amb. Co., 88th Division. Did hospital work at Laguey, near Metz, later at Hevillers, France in the Meuse sector.

8. Private Herman G. Mattson,    Son of H. Mattson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in Co. I., March, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody and Fort Sill, for duty with the 59th F. A. Brigade. Returned to this country and received his discharge papers January 22, 1919.

1. Captain Neill J. Everitt,    Son of Mrs. Louise M. Everitt, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service in March, 1917, and received training at St. Joseph's Hospital, Omaha, Ft, Riley, Camp Alexandria, and Camp Mills, transferred to 89th Division, and later stationed at Monderlingen, Germany.

2. Private Carl Elmer Fish,    Son of Colonel E. Fish, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Aug. 15, 1918, and trained at Lincoln State Uni., and Ft. Crook, for duty with the 74th Balloon Co.

3. Second Lieutenant Albert C. Bischel,    Son of George Bischel, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Dodge, Ia., May 27, 1918, and trained at that point and Camp Zachery Taylor, for duty with Co. B, 338th M. G. Battalion, 88th Division. Taken sick and in the hospital at time his division sailed. Discharged on December 22. 1918.

4. Frank D. Dexter, Wagoner,    Son of Mrs. S. C. Dexter, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., March 29, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody and Ft. Sill, for duty with the 127th Field Artillery. Saw service in France, and received his discharge papers January 22, 1919.

5. Corporal Ross A. Wareham,    Son of Mrs. Lulu Wareham, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., and was trained at Camp Funston, Kansas, for duty with Co. 41, 164th Depot Brigade. Received his discharge in December, 1918.

6. Sergeant Chas. R. Wareham,    Son of Mrs. Lulu Wareham, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Stapleton, Neb., in October, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty in the Medical Detachment of the 355th Infantry. Saw service in the St. Mihiel, Argonne and Meuse drives, later with Army of Occupation.

7. Captain C. A. Yoder,    Elmcreek, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in August, 1917, and trained at Ft. Riley and Camp Wadsworth, for duty in the Medical Corps. Saw service in France. Practicing physician at Elmcreek, Nebraska.

8. Private William M. Matson,    Son of Nelse Matson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 18, 1918, and trained at Manhattan, Kansas, for duty in Motor Transport Service. Unassigned. Discharged December 7, 1918.

1. Martin F. Anderson, Mess Sergeant,    Son of M. E. Anderson, Wilkesboro, N. C. Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918 and was trained at Ft. Riley and Camp Greenleaf, for duty in 1st Co., 164th D. B., Served in U. S. General Hospital No. 19, at Oteen, N. C., discharged May 26, 1919.

2. Private Walter E. Shultz,    Son of J. R. Shultz, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., July 22, 1917, and trained at Camp Devens, Mass., for duty in Co. F, 74th Infantry. Regular Army. Received his discharge papers on January 28, 1919.

3. Private Otto C. Henning,    Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., September 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody, for duty with Co. G. 134th Infantry. Crossed the seas as replacement to Co. M, 32d Division. In fighting at Chateau-Thierry, Soissons and Argonne Forest. Wounded at Argonne Forest in October, 1918. Discharged June 3, 1919, at Boston, Massachusetts.

4. Private William F. Musil,    Son of Joseph Musil, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. A. 341s' Battalion, 89th Division. Saw service at St. Mihiel and Argonne-Meuse offensives, and Army of Occupation. Discharged June 2, 1919.

5. Private Joseph I. Ripp,    Son of Henry Ripp, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., for duty with Co. 17. 163d Depot Brigade, for foreign service. Discharged December 15, 1918.

6. Private Clarence R. Pickering,    Son of T. O. Pickering, Eustis, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Camp Hospital 121, U. S. Army. Saw foreign service with hospital corps.

7. Private Paul T. Gordon,    Son of John Gordon, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Leavenworth, February 23, 1918, for duty with Co. A. 326th Field Signal Battalion Doing signal work when armistice was signed, later in Army of Occupation. Discharged July 5, 1919.

8. Kempton B. Merdinger,   Shelton, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 2, 1918, and was trained at Camp Fremont, for duty with Co. D, Ammunition Train, 8th Division Did not get across. Discharged February 2, 1919.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 3, 1917, training at Camp Funston, for duty in Headquarters Company. Received his discharge papers December 4, 1917.

3. Private Walter R. Frink,    Son of George C. Frink, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 21, 1918; trained at Camp Dodge, Iowa for service in Co. 35, 163d Depot Brigade, and received his discharge papers on the 28th day of April, 1919. Auto Mechanic, Gibbon, Nebraska.

4. Corporal Ernest W. Asay,    Son of H. G. Asay, Odessa, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., Dec. 12, 1917, and trained at Presidio, and San Francisco, Calif., for duty in the Coast Artillery. Transferred to France October 12, 1918, Received discharge February 18, 1919, at Fort Dodge, Ia.

5. Private Hedge V. Fox,    Son of the late Mrs. Emma Fox, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 27, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge for service with Co. 13, 163d Depot Brigade, 88th Division. Received his discharge on July 1, 1918. Blacksmith at Shelton, Nebraska.

6. Private Alvah M. Pember,    Son of J. E. Pember, Denman, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 22, 1917, and trained at Camp Dodge for service in Headquarters Company, 88th Division of Infantry and was in France during the late spring of 1919.

7. Sergeant Franklin E. Pember,    Son of J. E. Pember, Denman, Neb.
Entered the service at Fort Logan, Colo., May 6, 1917, and trained at Ft. Logan, Ft. Scott, Ft. Kamchameha and Fort Monroe for duty in Coast Artillery. Later transferred to a Casual Detachment and discharged March 18, 1919.

8.John Paul Rills,    Shelton, Nebraska.
Entered the service through Creighton University and sent to the I. C. O. T. S., at Camp Grant, Co. 5, 3d Bat. Transferred to Co. 3, 3d Bat., transferred to Omaha and discharged from service December 21, 1918.
