Where to find an obituary
The best source is the Miami-Dade Public
Library Genealogy Department. They have the
Ann McFadden Obituary Index of Greater
Miami 1896-2007, which includes all
English language newspapers. The library
suggests you call them first to confirm they
do have the obituary. The phone number is
(305) 375-5580. If the the obituary exists,
you can then write to them at 101 W. Flagler
St., Miami, FL 33130, include your check for
$5, and they will send the obituary to you.
