Joseph N. (Jasper) DORMAN lived in Hamilton Co. FL in late 1800's with
his wife, Sarah Ann BELLFLOWER. They had four children, Henry Blackston,
Andrew Jackson, Hardy Franklin, and Lilly. Joseph was listed in a court
case in 1898 but missing from the 1900 census. Does anyone know what happened

Need to locat a Jackson family who may still have offspring in Hamilton,
Co. Looking for the family of a Joseph Jackson who was born in Dermorest,
Ga. He moved to Hamilton Co abt 1930 with his wife Sally? Joseph is buried
in Riverside Cemetery, next to his wife. Joseph was born in Aug of 1872
and died Feb 27, 1953. Buried beside his wife names only as "mama" Jackson.
His certificate of death identifies him as the son of Jasper Jackson. Our
Joseph was married several times, and he had offspring from these marriages.
One of these children signed death record as the informant. Her name was
Valerie Jackson Lyons.One of his children was named Joe Frank. Joseph had
a brother named Harv, who in turn had a son named Clyde, who resided in
Ga. The firtst marriage of Joseph was to Josephine Herrin, of which ther
were three children; Roby, Elsie Mae, and Ethel. They were born in Georgia
We are seeking info on name of his secind wife who is buried beside him,
there in Hamilton Co. Can anyone recall this family or have knowledge of

Searching for info on Maryam LOCK, b. Oct 11, 1874 Hamilton County,
FL, of parents Wash Lock and Avie Powell Lock (both believed to have been
born in NC. Maryam married John Thomas Braswell before 1900 and had children
Chris, Jerry, Edna, Calvin, William. Maryam died July 10, 1949, and is
buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Hamilton County. Any information on the

I am looking for info on Henry Jackson DOWNING. He married Nancy Jane
HENDRY at her residence on Sept. 15, 1859 in Jasper, Florida. They show
up in the Hamilton County, 1860 Census. Henry is said to be from Laurens
County, Georgia but I can't verify. Any info will be most appreciated.

shows William Box (born 1837 in Georgia) age 30 with wife Sarah age 25
with children: Laura 8, martha 6, Moses 4, Jacob 2. Looking for indescents.

My grandmother's family resided in and around, Jennings, Hamilton County,
Florida. There is a lot I do not know about this family either. James Thomas
LEWIS was born was born on 1 May 1854 in Wales. He came to America, where
he married Virginia YATES; I don't nothing of her except for her name.
She had at least one child; a son, Dilbon Owen LEWIS, born 31 Jul 1889
in Jennings. James died on 28 Jun 1938. I believe he died in Jennings,
but I am not sure. My request here is on Virginia YATES and her family,
which I know absolutely nothing about. I would appreciate it if you could

I am descended from Andrew Jackson WARD (1855-1925) who was Justice
of the Peace in Jennings, Hamilton County. A.J. WARD married Missouri Arkansas
"Mary" BUSH in 1885. She was from Lafayette County, but moved to Hamilton
with most of her family. A.J. WARD's parents were Rev. David F. WARD and
Jane MARLER WARD. David WARD (1815-1902) was a preacher at several churches
around north Florida and south Georgia. Jane MARLER WARD died in 1884 and
David remarried Mary DELANEY in Lafayette County where he settled and was
buried. I am interested in any info on the WARD's or BUSH's of Hamilton
