Immokalee Church

Church Building to be
Erected at Immokalee

Immokalee is soon to have a new church building, which will replace the building destroyed by the hurricane of September, 1926. The Missionary Baptist Church of Immokalee has secured 5 acres of land to be used as a cemetery: but a portion of this land has been set aside for the erection of a new churce building. It is expected that work will be started on the new building some time in the fall. At present church services are held in the school house and are conducted by Dr. F.W.Nolte, the Immokalee pastor. At present the church has a membership of 50, twenty-eight new members having been added in the course of the past two months.
