Final rites for David Alfonso WEEKS, Sr., 70, Pioneer Collier
County resident, were held last Sat. at 3 p.m. at the Marco
Church of God with Rev. J. W. Allen of Naples officiating. He
died following a heart attack last Thursday at his Naples Home. The deceased was born in Marco and resided all his life in Collier County. He was a commercial fisherman and guide. Mr. Weeks is survived by Mrs. Weeks and seven children, David Jr., of Naples; Ivan and Luther of Everglades; Norman of Tavenier; Mrs. Virgie Dixon, Marco; Mrs. Geneva McDuffie of Lake Placid; two brothers, Alfred and John of Marco, and a sister, Mrs. George Cole of Naples. Pallbearers were, Leslie Bronson, Bert Vickers Robert Griffin, Albert Anderson, Robert Cameron, and Fred Worth. Interment was in the Marco Cemetery. The Leo W. Englehardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
