Saturday March 12, 2011.
Survived by sister-in-law, Pauline Bolt; niece and
husband, Gail and Bobby Sutphin; nephew and wife, Windell Ledford
and Alphia Bolt; special caregivers, Michael and Kelly Sutphin and their
children, Tom, Emma, Hannah and Daniel.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Maberry Funeral Home. Funeral Services
will be held at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Sutphin officiating. Private
interment in the McPeak Cemetery. Arrangements by

McPEAK, Kethel Miller, 92, of Meadows of Dan, passed
away Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Laurel Meadows Nursing Home in Laurel
Fork, Va. He was born February 8, 1911 to the late Jonathan and Judia
Dalton McPeak. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by
his first wife, Hazel Van Sutphin McPeak, five sisters, Cora Bolt, Annie
Dalton, Pearl McPeak Summers, Mattie Rush, Ona Tilley and three brothers,
Benjamin, Rev. John and Grover McPeak. Mr. McPeak retired from United
Elastic Corp. and was a member of Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Cassie K. McPeak, of the home; one daughter, Rita
Lawson of Martinsville; one stepdaughter, Pamela G. Jordan of Tyler, Texas;
three stepsons, Wayne M. Campbell of Eden, N.C., Randy M. Campbell of
Arlington, Texas, Wilson E. Campbell of Meadows of Dan; two grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; 11 step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. McPeak will be
held Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel
in Stuart with the Rev. Randy Rippey officiating. Burial will follow in the
McPeak Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to
the service.
