Mrs. Quesenberry was preceded in death by her husband, Asa Quesenberry; one son, and two daughters. Surviving are three daughters, Lessie Cox of Indian Valley, Verna Long of Blacksburg and Aretta Peters of Baltimore, Md.; four sons, Stanley Quesenberry and Vivian Quesenberry of Dugspur, Melvin Quesenberry of Harrisonburg and Russell Quesenberry of Taverese, Fla.; a sister, Jocie Hollandsworth of Floyd; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, with the Rev. Simpkins of Indian Valley; sisters Otha Mildred Huff of Riner and Virginia Carter of Roanoke; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Vinton Quesenberry and Elder Tim McGrady officiating.
