Mary was born June 28, 1905, in Pilot, Va., a daughter of the late Noah Epperly and Maude Payne Epperly. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Theodore Jennings, and children, Ellen Marie Rahall, Joe Alvin Jennings, Lawrence Jennings, Jackson T. Jennings Jr., Paul Dean Jennings, and Nancy Pat Ashcraft. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Polly Hoffman of Pennsville, N.J.; two sons, Billy Ray Jennings of Cunard, and Ted Jerome Jennings of Bedford, Va.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 12 noon on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the Cunard Baptist Church, with the former Pastor Winston ONeal officiating, and where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cunard Baptist Church Missions Fund.
