India Ruth Epperly Harris, 104, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 6, 2007.

Preceding her in death were her parents; Wesley and Iowa Epperly; husband, Jerry Harris; son and daughter-in-law, J. W. and June Harris; son-in-law, Edward Wilson; granddaughter, Dianna Drasher; four brothers; and a sister.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law, Wilford and Mabel Harris of Roanoke, Va, and Dillard and Estalene Harris of Glen Burnie, Md.; daughter, Renva Wilson of Roanoke, Va.; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; sister, Ocie Ratliff of Salem, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Patrick Starkey and Mr. Randel Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Topeco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Maberry Funeral Home.
