she was a doll clothes maker and dresser for 24 years at Beta Women's Club
and was active with the Christmas Toy Shop, both of St. Petersburg. Survivors
include a daughter, Judy McCoy, Tallahassee; a brother, Henry Agnew,
Kingsport, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Julie Sargent, Memphis, Tenn., and

Ward Agnew, 85, of Floyd, went to Heaven on Thursday April 7, 2005. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Effie Agnew; one brother, D.J.
Agnew; one sister, Reba Hockett; and two grandchildren, Rhonda and Dan Agnew.
He was a long time employee of Hercules (RAAP). He is survived by his loving
wife of almost 66 years, Ruby Underwood Agnew; one son and daughter-in-law,
Harold and Jeanette Agnew, Floyd; one granddaughter and husband, Gwen Agnew
Hendrick and Brent, Roanoke; two greatgranddaughters
and one spouse, Jennifer Hendrick, Roanoke, Julie and Adam Harris, Floyd; one
great-grandson, Kevin Hendrick, Roanoke, one great great
grandson, Tyler Harris, Floyd. Three sisters, Dorothy Belcher, Iris Yeatts,
Barbara Nolen, all of Floyd; one brother, James Agnew, Floyd. Funeral
services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday April 9, 2005 at New Haven Baptist
