I am looking for the birth parents of my husband's grandmother, Helen Louise (Pinney)Perrine. Her adoption papers have their names as Mason Zimmerman and Bernice Oberley. She was born on March 28, 1913 with the name Helen Charlotte Zimmerman. Her Mother gave her up for adoption in 1916 and she was adopted from the Children Home Society of Ohio in Columbus, Ohio by Joseph B and Mabel Alice Pinney. I have traced her father to Wood Co, Ohio. I think he was born there to Nathan and Elizabeth (Fleming) Zimmerman. If anyone is familiar with any of these families please let me know. Grams' birth parents and the circumstances surrounding her being given up for adoption are a major mystery in the family which we would all like to solve.

I would like to know what cemetery my dad is buried in! I know it's in Wood County, Perrysburg. His name was Robert Daniel Brown, he was born on October 29, 1930 and died in September (maybe the 26th or 27th) of 1968. He had been a member of the USMC and was an Ohio State Patrolman at the time of his death. His dad was Daniel Frank Brown, his brother was Frank, and they owned and operated Brown's Auto Service in the Perrysburg/Stony Ridge area. he was married to Grace C. Brown and we lived on 5 Points Road. My dad died when I was 2 years old and I never saw his daughter (my half-sister) after that time-her name was Pamela Jo Brown. I would love to have a photo of my dad's gravesite but I don't know the name of the cemetery! His funeral may have been handled by a Holcomb Funeral Home (he was Lutheran, the church may have been St. Mark's) and he may be buried next to his mother, Ihla Hahn Brown (she died in March of 1966).

I am looking for more information on John P. Schmucker who married Mary Miller in Wayne, OH. I found out through the I.G.I. that they were married on November 11, 1858 but whether the Wayne stand for a village (in Wood County), a township (in Ashtabula County) or a County (Wayne County) the record does not specify, it only says Wayne, OH. Also the I.G.I. record spells his name as SCHMUKER rather than SCHMUCKER but this has to be the right person as I know that he married Mary Miller and I have her genealogy going back a ways. At any rate, if anyone can confirm for me if John lived in this Wayne, OH, or even better yet obtain a Marriage Record (which I will pay for if one exists in 1858) that would be great!
