Services are held for John Eischen
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elyria, Ohio, for John Eischen, 73, of Elyria, a former resident of Wabash township, Jay county, and brother of a Geneva man. Burial was in the St. Mary's cemetery. Mr. Eischen died Monday at the nursing home in Amherst, O. He was born March 15, 1899, the son of Peter and Veronica Eischen on November 25, 1935, he was married to Doris Locke, who survives. Surviving besides his wife are one son, John D. Eischen, Elyria, O.; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Dian) Warrenfeltz, Elyria, O.; four brothers, Joe and Arthur Eischen, Ft. Recovery, O.; Ed Eischen, route 4, Portland; and Sylvester Eischen, Geneva; six sisters, Elizabeth Homan, Celina, O.; Mary Keonig, route 4, Portland; Matilda Schworer, Horeb, Wis.; Beatrice Schmit, and Catherine Hartnagel, Bryant, and Vida Weitzel, New Weston, O., and four grandchildren.
