Carrabassett Valley
Carthage - Incorporated 1826, included Washington Plt., Perkins Plt., T4 Abbott's Purchase, and Berry's Mills.
Chesterville
Eustis - Created from T1R4 WBKP, Hanover, Jackson and Stratton. It was incorporated as Eustis in 1871.
Farmington - Created from Sandy River Plt., Fairbanks and West Mills. It was incorporated as Farmington in 1794.
Freeman - The History of Freeman began in 1767 with the burning of Falmouth, now Portland, Maine. The Suffers of the burning were granted two townships of land, one of which is present day Freeman Twp., Maine.
Industry - Incorporated in 1803, includes Allen's Mills
Jay - Established in 1795 Including Chisholm and Bean's Corner. In 1790 and 1800, it was in Cumberland County. 1810 -1830 it was in Oxford County. Since 1840 it has been in Franklin County.
Kingfield - Incorporated in 1816, formerly known as "T3R1 BKP WKR."
Madrid - Incorporated in 1836; It included part of "T1R1 WBKP" and Perham Jct.
New Sharon - Incorporated in 1794, formerly known as Unity, Plt.
New Vineyard - Incorporated in 1802 formerly known as "T2R1 NPC WKR," North Plymouth Patent.
Phillips - Incorporated in 1812 It included part of present-day Salem, Curatevo, Curvo, Madrid Jct. Sandy River Upper Town and T3 Abbotts Purchase
Rangeley - Incorporated in 1855, includes T3R2 WBKP, Bald Mt, Haines Landing, Indian Rock, Mount View, and Oquossoc.
Salem - Incorporated in 1823, formerly part of Freeman and Phillips
Stratton - A village near Eustis
Strong - Incorporated in 1801, formerly Readstown, Sandy River Lower Town, and T3R1 NPC WKR.
Temple - Incorporated in 1801, formerly T5 Abbott's Purchase, and Abbottstown.
Weld - Incorporated in 1816, formerly T-5 Abbott's Purchase, Web's Pond, and Westbrook.
