By the courthouse in Farmington, take Anson Street, proceed up the hill, when
the road turns into "Titcomb Hill Rd" Go to the top of the hill where the road
"Y's". Go left. A short distance on the right is the Savage Road. Directly
across the road is a row of trees separating two fields. Follow this tree line &
stone wall up through the field about 200 yds. Tucked under the trees is the
cemetery. Indentations indicate there are two possibly three others buried here.
Someone keeps the brushes cleaned out of it.

Take State Route #145 north out of Strong Village. After you cross the town
line into Freeman take a right up Gilkey Hill to where the road "Tees". Take a
right and go up the hill to the four corners, which is Tuttle corner. From here
you walk or 4-wheel drive in good weather. At Tuttle corner you take a left up
the hill to the first four corners and take a right. This road was known as the
"Upper Rd." in the old days. Go right on the Upper Rd. for about 500 yards until
you find a stone wall on the left. Follow the west side of the Wall into the
woods for about 500 feet. Climb over the Wall and go into the woods 40 feet or
so. The Graves were under a tall spruce tree and were marked with foot stones
that had been thrown out of Tuttle Corner Cemetery. This area was clear cut
sometime in the late 1980's and when we were there with Mr. Burton Weymouth, a
descendent, we could not find the Graves. Mr. Weymouth wanted to place proper
markers on the Graves.

Anna Smith, his wife, b. 7-14-1755, d. in Freeman, Me.
Take SR-149 out of Phillips toward Salem, Me. Directly across the road from
the Wheeler Hill Rd. is an open field. To find the cemetery, walk toward the
lower left corner. Just inside the treeline on a knoll is the cemetery. This is
often called the Whitney Cemetery as Micah Whitney is supposed to be buried
here.

Sarah d.

The stone was erected by her brother Joseph W.
HAMMOND.
It is well fenced. A few steps away are three graves
also fenced
with slate markers; appears to be two adults
and one child. (They are
unreadable)
Take Pleasent St. in Rangeley for about a mile to a house on the right with a
Stone Wishing Well in the front yard. Cemetery is to right of the house about
200 yds. from the road. Good condition with several unmarked graves.

Small wooden Cross (weathered)
Take Rt. 156 from Wilton to North Chesterville Village, then take a right and
start up the hill. You will see the cemetery on your left up over a steep bank.
There is no pathway to it. It is in very bad condition. It looks as though
nothing has been done to it in years. There were branches down, stones broken,
some missing and holes in the ground.
