DEANE CEMETERY, Temple

From Farmington, go west on Route 43 toward Temple; turn left onto the Varnum Pond Road, and proceed til the pavement ends. Cross the brook, and continue on the dirt road – usually a 4 wheel drive road. When the road "y’s", go right. Not far is a mowed road on the left. That takes you to the cemetery.

EAST WILTON CEMETERY, East Wilton

From Farmington, south on Route 4 towards Wilton. Where Cemetery Road crosses the highway in East Wilton, take a left. Go straight - the road turns to dirt. Cemetery is off the highway less than a half-mile; on the right. Older style metal fencing. Well kept.

Copied by E. Nora Farrington & Phyllis E. Hardy Oct. 1998 Because of the irregular lay-out of the cemetery, the compilers felt it was to a researcher's advantage to provide this material unalphabetized to show proximity of stones on lots to other lots where family members could be buried.
