2024 Query: Henry SORDEN lived about 1672 - 1746 in Bay Hundred, Talbot
County, MD. His father was possibly William SORDEN, who arrived 23 Jul 1660 in
Oxford, Talbot County, MD, as an indentured servant of Richard BANKS. Through
DNA testing I've discovered that the SORDEN family is closely related to my own
SODEN family. I am mostly running on information from Jim SORDEN in California,
who knows he is descended from the SORDENs from Talbot County, Maryland. I have
strong evidence that I am descended from a small group of SODENs that lived in
Middlesex and Somerset counties in New Jersey from the 1720s to 1760s. Before
that, it is possible my NJ Soden family had come from Massachusetts and had
lived there since the 1660s. I'm trying to find the link between our families.
