MAPS

In the past, Bergen County, NJGenWeb had links to maps that were provided by Harland B. Kinzley.  I recently located a few maps, which will be linked here as uploaded.

1. 1650 Bergen County map as documented by the First Reformed Church
2. 1876 Section of Mid Hackensack in Bergen County: Under the link to this map was the following wording:  "As you will note, each platted area has the name of the current (1876) owner on it.  This is its historical value. The Atlas was a commercial venture, it also carries ads and steel engravings of sites, homes and businesses."  [NOTE:

If you learn of these maps online, please send me a link to them so I can provide that here on this site.  It would be greatly appreciated.  I am sure they are out there somewhere on the Internet, but I have not yet located same while I am rebuildig this site and moving from a couple of prior websites for this county. I am in the process of locating and provide either maps or links to maps.  Your kind assistance is much appreciated if you locate materials that could be provided to our visitors.  Thank you.

Linkpendium:  Bergen County, New Jersey
This is a compilation of hundreds of maps.  Some may be free and others with a price.  However, they are free to view and enjoy.

The Netherlands is the source country of many residents of New Jersey. Bob Billard has many pages at his site, including this great Map of The Netherlands from a travel brochure. If your ancestors originated in this area, you'll definitely enjoy this map. Be sure to check it out. It shows many, many cities and locations in that community.  I am including the map here only in order to be sure it is preserved as it was/is housed on Rootsweb and many items have disappeared there.  Hopefully, Mr. Billard will excuse my use of same here.  MAP OF THE NETHERLANDS
