FMR Fredericksburg Ministers Return (Found in the Fredericksburg, Va. Circuit Court.  Generally attached to the marriage license after 1864.)
FML  Fredericksburg Marriage License (Found in the files of the Fredericksburg Va. Circuit Court.  Found after 1850. Those after about 1855 contain more genealogical information then the previous forms.)
OMR Orange County Minister's Return (The originals and excellent indexes compiled by clerks of the court are in the Orange County Court House Circuit Clerk's Office.  This minister's return is generally attached to the marriage license after 1864.)
OML Orange County Marriage License (Found in the files of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Orange, Virginia.  This was the form that was used after about 1854 and contains excellent genealogical data.  It appears to be completed by the clerk of the court using information supplied by the prospective bride and groom.)
SPMR Spotsylvania County Ministers Returns (Found in the Circuit Court Clerks Office at the Court House in Spotsylvania.  Generally attached to the marriage license after 1864.)
SPML Spotsylvania County Marriage License (Found in the files of the Spotsylvania Circuit Court Clerks Office.  Not used before 1850.)
