JOHN MORGAN

REVOLUTIONARY WAR



Pension Application of John Morgan states he filed in 1834 at Warren County, Tennessee. He served first in the North Carolina Militia. After his service of two years, he went to live with his father in Shenandoah County, VA. He stayed there for 10-12 months and then enlisted with the VA Militia at Millerstown ( now called Woodstock). He was at Yorktown and at the surrender of Cornwallis. He then was discharged. He lived in Montgomery County, VA for 30 years and then moved to Warren County, TN.
