The following information was provided by Daniel W. Bly; Geb is short for Geboren [born in German] and Ges is short for Gestorben [died in German].

There are in fact two very old stones with German inscriptions for Jacob Windel Sr. and wife Barbara Elizabeth (nee Pifer). I transcribed them in 1970

"J. W. geb. 18 Jul 1755 ges 29 Jun 1805"
"E B. W bo May 16 1760, d. july 28 1815"
This would be Jacob Windel Sr. and wife Elizabeth Barbara. Parents of the younger Jacob Windle buried there."

The inscriptions are on the old stones - not the nice factory made ones - and they are not in Mr. Borden's book. Mr. Bly copied them in 1970. In 1978 Bly returned to the cemetery with Borden. The place was more grown up so much so they couldn't locate the stones above mentioned. Mr Borden wanted to move on to other cemeteries so he never copied them down. Bly also noted there were some other old stones without inscriptions - not a lot but a few. Bly wrote: "This is an important old graveyard and I am glad to see that it now has a fence around it and is being cleaned up."
