Spotsylvania Court House 5/12/64. POW Point Lookout 5/18/64 to
7/30/64. POW Elmira 8/2/64 to 1/31/65 when he asked to take oath,
saying he "desires to go to Polk County Illinois where he
has relatives residing." Remained Elmira to 5/15/65 whn
released on oath, 5'9", dark complexion, dark hair, blue
eyes in 1865.
