In August 1820, John Gregory, David Thompson & Robert Thompson of Lunenburg were appointed by the court of Lunenburg to convey the land of William Weatherford deceased to Judy Weatherford, William Weatherford, Polly Weatherford, Tabitha Weatherford, Peggy Weatherford, Anna Weatherford & Martin Weatherford all children and heirs of said decedent. The land was described as "235 acres in Lunenburg on both sides of High Gate Creek, bounded by the heirs of Joseph Weatherford, Senr., John Brown, William Deupree, Robert Saunders, Cornelius Johnson, David Marergoes? estate and dower line of sd decd ____? relict being the land that William Weatherford dies seized of." (Lun. DB 25:127)
