Sue. Eneas (Enos, Eness, Eniss) Jones lived in Loudoun County mid to late 1700's. Where was Shelburne Parish in the county? What might be some present day landmarks to help identify the area? I assume Shelburne Parish was a district and not a church. What churches might have been in Shelburne Parish area in 1700's ? Location of Kettocktin (Kittocktin) Mountain? I couldn't locate on present day maps. Any assistance locating this JONES family and the answers to the above questions will be deeply appreciated.
Kathy. I am looking for the RHODES family, who I believed had a plantation somewhere in Virginia before the civil war. I was led to Loudon County by another web site. I am not certain of Loudon County, but have been diligently pursuing all leads. My grandfather was James RHODES (1900-1976), who lived his adult life in western PA. I believe his parents moved to PA from Virginia when he was growing up.

I am looking for information on Charles EATON,born about 1765 in Loudoun County, VA, moving to Fleming County, KY by 1790. He married Permelia SAUNDERS, probably in VA, between 1785-1790. She was also born in Loudoun County,VA around 1766-1770. Her parents were James SAUNDERS and Elizabeth NASH. Charles and Permelia had seven children that I know of, all born in KY.
