This USGenWeb county site has been adopted as of May 2025! The new county coordinator is in the process of preparing a fresh website. It should be up by the end of June '25. In the meantime, if you have any questions about this site, please contact Ed Olsen


The easiest way to find what is here may still be to use the search engine but feel free to browse around as  well. 

We do hope you will join us by contributing copies of old family letters, photos (pre-1925), family histories, documents, or other items that can help others connect to their own Dinwiddie Co. heritage.  

Also, if you might be willing to transcribe any records, please let us know and we will see what might be available to add to the site.
